off a quick little bike workout and now the plan's to get to bed early because i'm taking the kids up to rome to see mom do a 10k at 6:30a

antisocial networking: reply to all facebook status updates, emails, ims and tweets with "that's what she said" for a solid week

hoping this isn't a self-jinx but putting the corrupt hard drive into another box and running chkdsk seems to have worked.

let's see if the microsoft diagnostics and recovery toolset 5.0 will help corrupt but functioning drive

spoke too soon and jinxed myself. a completely unrelated computer just locked up on a virus scan and now won't boot. lots of yelling.

backup file server project was/is a time sink but needed to be done and seems to be progressing well now.

walgreens is smart, only selling 3.5" floppys in a 30 pack... so onward, to the next four letter word-laced bottleneck of digital disaster

hosed... can't find a floppy disk... the only acceptable way to submit raid drivers to the os install process... i are hatez computers

losing today to file server issues which always have to be taken seriously because they protect critical data. still, not fun.

not sure i actually woke up today. little sleep last night. nonstop today. i'm whupped. still gunning for a workout though.
